Tchelet Segev, a senior in civil and environmental engineering, is making a better world at MIT and beyond through leadership and service.

Eight from MIT Receive 2018 Fulbright Awards

Destinations for this year’s Fulbright recipients include Germany, Switzerland, and other countries of the European Union; Chile; and Indonesia. Students’ research interests range from astronomy, art criticism, architectural history, and biohacking to neuroscience, nuclear policy, and computer science.

For nearly two decades, MIT has put its collective best foot forward to welcome admitted students during Campus Preview Weekend.
“When I first started Python, I basically felt like I was learning some unfathomable witchcraft. Many of the concepts still feel hard to grasp for me, and that sort of feeling is what made me love it,” says second-year student James Quigley. He is featured with Ana Bell, a lecturer in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at MIT.
