Virtual Cooking with Antoinette

Antionette (center, in the pink apron) and her cooking disciples make Thanksgiving stuffing balls and cranberry sauce.

We are fortunate at the International Students Office (ISO) to have a wonderful colleague and chef, Antoinette Browne, who has graciously offered three virtual cooking lessons for OVC this fall. These virtual cooking classes aim to help all staff stay connected (and well fed).

The first recipe was a simple triple-decker brownie dessert (three layers of chocolate chip cookie dough, Oreos, and brownie mix), and the second session featured a Brown Bread Bake. More recently, Antoinette taught OVC staff her Thanksgiving stuffing ball and cranberry sauce recipes.

She also led a Thanksgiving cooking session for international students the following week. Included in the mix of participants were a student from Switzerland who called in from Somerville; meanwhile, her mother back home in Switzerland joined us on Zoom to cook with us, too!

Thank you, Antoinette!
